Our course apnea is a training program designed to teach people techniques of breathing, body control and safety when diving to lung free. That is, the ability to hold their breath under water for long periods of time.
This course can vary depending on the skill level of the participants, but usually includes aspects such as:
- Theory and physiology of apnea: to Understand how the human body functions during sleep, including physiological changes, the importance of proper breathing and factors that affect lung capacity.
- Breathing techniques: Learn breathing techniques specific to maximize the efficiency and prolong the time of apnea, such as diaphragmatic breathing and holding one's breath.
- Safety training: Familiarization with safety procedures, including the supervision of peers, the prevention of accidents and the management of emergency situations.
- Confined Water training: Practice of free-diving techniques in a controlled environment, including exercises to improve the strength and relaxation under the water.
- Technical open Water: Development of skills for underwater exploration techniques using free-diving, as propulsion with fins and free immersion apnea.
- Environmental awareness: Education on the conservation of the marine environment, and ethical behavior in the practice of apnea.
